BIOMEDICOM Goes to 3D Ultrasound Imaging BIOMEDICOM, Creative Biomedical Computing Ltd. has released its ultrasound imaging platform for clinical 3D-ultrasound diagnostic imaging. Initially introduced at the annual meetings of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) earlier this year, the system has been well accepted by target markets and audiences, according to company officials. The BIOMEDICOM device can be added on to any installed conventional 2D ultrasound system to upgrade it to 3D, significantly increasing capability while retaining the image quality of the host system. BIOMEDICOM was established in 1998 and has its headquarters in Jerusalem.
