GoTradeSeafood Launches Partner Management Program BOSTON, Mass. March 24, 2001- This week at the International Boston Seafood Show GoTradeSeafood launches its Partner Management Program (PMP) Private Negotiation Platform. This platform enables companies to privately, individually and securely do business over the Internet with their established trading partners. The PMP facilitates the complex and quick negotiations of the seafood business as well as providing information collaboration tools for companies to streamline their business. The PMP enables companies to send, for example, 500 offers to individual partners, receive, compare and negotiate bids and responses on these offers, communicate between partners, as well as issue and track purchase orders and invoices online. All communications are saved securely on line for future reference, GoTradeSeafood has signed up two pilot companies that will begin using this service with their trading partners. "We are very excited about these two leading companies choosing to use this service and trusting us. The PMP targets the major cost items in the Seafood Business- operating costs and Seafood product procurement. By tackling these key costs, PMP will deliver a boost to the bottom line of our customers." says Jerry ten Brink, CEO of GoTradeSeafood. The Digital PMP platform helps companies do more business with trading partners and maintain control –even of remote locations- without increasing costs. It will also lower phone, fax, paper chases and other costs associated with conducting business.
