Messaging and Portal Infrastructure Companies, Chek.com and MyPersonal.com, Complete Merger The New Company Receives $10 Million To Market Personalized Messaging And Information Portal Platform

(February 5, 2001) - Chek.com Inc., a messaging infrastructure provider, and MyPersonal.com Inc., a portal infrastructure provider, finalized an agreement to combine operations under one company. The new company enables clients to efficiently manage and deploy their own messaging system integrated with the portal features of their choice. A $10 million investment to support the growth of the new company was led by Walden International Investment Group and Crystal Internet Venture Funds ("CIVF").
