Q-Star Test and Van Limburg Engineering announce a strategic partnership unique supply current (IDD) test solutions combined with test program development services targeting test cost and time-to-volume reduction Brugge/Staphorst, January 9, 2002 – Q-Star Test, the premier supplier of advanced high speed and high accurate IDD test solutions, and Van Limburg Engineering, a leading test program development service supplier, announce a strategic partnership. Q-Star Test offers IDDx monitor solutions, supporting true IDDQ, delta IDDQ, IDDT and analog IDD test strategies applicable to digital, analog, and mixed signal circuits. Q-Star Test’s measurement hardware is ATE independent and outperforms other available ATE related IDD test hardware by at least a factor of 100 (with respect to measurement speed and accuracy). The hardware solutions are complemented with application and test strategy related consulting and training services. Van Limburg Engineering offers test engineering services; high speed mixed signal, digital and analog, RF, Microwave, Bluetooth, SerDes and SOC test program development (hardware and software), test program conversion between different test platforms, test program development tools, implementation of new test methods, test time optimization, virtual testing and test data processing. In addition to their soft- and hardware solutions, Q-Star Test and Van Limburg Engineering offer engineering training services. Q-Star Test focuses on IDD based DFT, test methodologies and test strategies as well as application specific IDD monitor support. The Van Limburg Engineering training program covers user training on diverse ATE equipment, fudamentals of digital/mixed signal test engineering and test program conversion between tester platforms. The partnership between Q-Star Test and Van Limburg Engineering will allow customers to benefit from the combination of products and services offered. By combining Van Limburg Engineering’s software solutions with Q-Star Test’s measurement hardware, an easy route toward the implementation of a supply current based test strategies is created in a production test environment.
